When do I need an asbestos survey?
Before refurbishment or demolition work in any building built before 2000, you need a refurbishment and demolition survey of the area where the work will take place, or of the whole building if it is being demolished. Asbestos was fully banned in the UK in 1999.
What happens if asbestos is found?
Work that would disturb it must not start. If you come across it during the job, stop work and keep people away. Our report shows where the asbestos is, with recommendations and a separate quote for removal.
